10-Hour Famine

To raise fund for World Vision, the Students’ Union held the 10-Hour Famine on 29th April 2017. The theme of the fundraising event is hunger and food security. Activities including a poverty workshop, a video viewing session, a sharing session, and a talk conducted by Miss Chong and Mr Hui from World Vision were organized to allow participants to have a better understanding about the situation of people living in poverty. Through the activities, students could learn to treasure the things that they are enjoying and be more aware of issues related to world hunger
