2. Circulation Regulations
a. All library users may borrow library materials with their student card.
b. Loan Policy

Current issues of all newspaper and periodicals, dictionaries, encyclopedias and specified reference books are not for loan. They are to be read in the library only.
c. Overdue
Borrowers are responsible for returning their loans on or before the due date (excluding Saturdays, Sunday, School holidays and those days when the School Library is closed). Fines for the late return of materials borrowed will be charged as follows:

d. Loss or Damage
Borrowers should be held responsible for any loss, damage or disfigurement by writing or making any marks on the borrowed items and may be required to pay the full cost of replacing such items. Loss of materials should be reported immediately and will be charged for replacement.
3. Library Conduct
- Silence should be observed at any time in the school library.
- Food and drink are not allowed.
- Do not leave any library books on tables. They should be placed in the book trolley after reading/using.
- At the request of the student librarians, all library materials and personal belongings must be shown for inspection at the entrance.
- Do not take out any library materials, which have not been checked out properly. Any theft from the school library will be seriously penalized. The case will be brought to the notice of the Principal for further punishment.
- Personal belongings are to be placed on the shelves at the entrance of the school library. They should not be left unattended. The school library will not be responsible for any loss or damage of personal belongings.
- All library users in the school library have to follow the instructions of the student librarians on duty. The student librarians have the right to take down the name of any misbehaving library users and report to the Teacher Librarian.
- Photocopying of library materials should be made in compliance with the Copyright Ordinance. Library users are fully responsible for any copyright infringement.
