Telling Stories Using Census Data – Awards Achieved

A team of four senior ICT students participated in a competition co-organized by the GIS Academy and the Census and Statistics Department, titled the “ArcGIS StoryMaps Application Competition 2023/24 – Telling Stories Using Census Data.” Their triumphant project involved a comprehensive application and visualization of census data to propose effective waste reduction strategies across various districts in Hong Kong. They clinched two prestigious awards in the competition: Best Census Data Application Award and Champion in the Senior Secondary Category.
