UK Summer School Competition - Lee Ho Wan Owen
Date: 15/05/2017
Lee Ho Wan Owen (5B) was selected as one of the four winners of British Council’s UK Summer School Competition 2016-2017. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for participants to gain first-hand experience of studying in the UK and immerse in its rich history and culture. Candidates were asked to submit an essay based on the theme, ‘What would you do if you could spend a day in the life of your favourite UK celebrity, icon, historical figure or fictional character?’ Owen’s essay about Robin Hood demonstrated his creativity and flair for writing, which won him this invaluable chance and the fifth-former is absolutely delighted to be one of the selected few among over a hundred applicants!
