Outstanding alumnus Kwan Man Kit

Congratulations to our graduate Kwan Man Kit on being admitted to a one-year exchange programme at Harvard University to study Economics. With his outstanding academic performance and active participation in social services since secondary school, Kwan has been awarded a full scholarship (HSBC Overseas Scholarship) by the Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank. This scholarship covers all his tuition fees and living expenses to encourage him to maintain his enthusiasm for learning.

Kwan has attributed his success in obtaining the renowned scholarship to his active participation in social services, both in Hong Kong and overseas. When he studied in Hoi Ping, he engaged in more than 20 charity events. After he was admitted to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, he led service trips to Cambodia and Bali, which over 50 university students participated in. Kwan believes that engaging in social services could foster one’s personal growth. He also encourages Hoi Ping students to take an active role to reach out and serve the society. Kwan is the pride of Hoi Ping. We wish him the best of luck with his studies.
