Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition 2017

To nurture students’ learning interest and enhance their creativity, collaboration and problem solving skills, Hoi Ping has been promoting STEM education and encouraging students to participate in inter-school STEM competitions.

In 2017, five of our S2 students participated in the Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition and won the Champion’s Award out of more than 300 competitors with their invention - a wallet preventing card clash between two octopus cards. This is user-friendly for parents who need to tap an octopus card for their children. During the summer vacation, they represented Hong Kong and went on an exchange tour in Japan. Well done our little scientists!
