The 45th Anniversary Debating Cup – First Runner-up

The final round of our 45th Anniversary Debating Cup was successfully held on 25th May 2018. Our school defeated two other schools, advanced to the grand finals and debated with Queen Elizabeth School on the motion that ‘Hong Kong Government should give more aids to develop the local recycling industry’.

Both teams presented their arguments in an eloquent and powerful manner. At the end of the match, the adjudicator, Mr. Peter Broe, praised both teams on the sufficient research and a strong level of teamwork. Queen Elizabeth School was crowned the champion and our school captured the first runner-up prize. Congratulations to both teams!
