Hoi Ping Culture and History Study Tour

As a part of our celebrations for Hoi Ping’s 45th anniversary, thirty S3 to S5 students participated in a 3-day study tour to Dongguan and Hoiping. Not only did the students get to visit historical sites they had learnt about in Chinese History lessons, such as the site of the destruction of opium at Humen and the Weiyuan Fort, they also got to further explore and deepen their knowledge about the Kaiping Diaolou and Villages, which belong to the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Our students have gained much from this tour and their interest in history has grown through appreciating various iconic attractions and enlightening museums. We are sure our students have had a memorable and fruitful trip.
