Drama Club Puts on Rousing Performance of The Wizard of Oz

On 12th May, Hoi Ping’s Drama Club wowed a packed audience of students and teachers with their version of the theatrical staple The Wizard of Oz. Classic characters such as Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion and the Wicked Witch of the West were brought to life on stage, with the backstage team providing a fantastical backdrop and the student-directors calling the shots behind the scenes. The Drama Club worked tirelessly for months to write their own script, run lines, choreograph scenes and organise everything from securing props to lighting the stage just right. Their dedication paid off in an exciting performance that inspired fellow students to become future members of the club.
