Parents’ Day

Parents play a critical role in the development of children, and this growth is further enriched through the collaboration between parents and the school. To strengthen this partnership, our school organised the Parents’ Day on 14th December 2024.

 

Parents of students from S4 to S6 participated in a talk focusing on academic matters and preparation for the HKDSE exams, presented by our Principal Mr Chen, Vice Principal Mr Lui, and Career and Guidance Mistress Ms Lau. This informative session was followed by a sharing opportunity with the respective class teachers.

 

For the parents of S1 students, Ms Cheung, a social worker from Caritas, provided invaluable insights on supporting children who may be encountering challenges such as online bullying and sexual violence. Following this session, the S1 students orchestrated a heartfelt thanksgiving session for their parents, with the assistance of their peer tutors and class teachers. During the event, the S1 students not only showcased performances and shared their experiences at Hoi Ping but also offered handmade gifts and refreshments that they had specially prepared for their parents. Witnessing the genuine efforts of our S1 students in expressing gratitude for their parents’ love and support was truly touching.
