Parents’ Day

Parents play an important role in the growth of children, and the success of this growth depends on the cooperation between parents and the school. In this regard, our school organized a “Parents’ Day” on 9th December 2023 (Saturday). Parents of S4 to S6 students attended a talk on academic affairs and preparation for HKDSE, given by our school principal, Mr Chen, the Vice Principal, Mr Lui and the Career and Guidance Mistress, Miss Lau. This was followed by a teacher-parent sharing session with class teachers. For parents of S1 students, our school social workers, Miss Lui and Mr Ma, shared their insights on how to support children in face of challenges. Afterward, S1students organized a thanksgiving session for their parents, with the assistance of their Peer Tutors and class teachers. During the event, our S1 students not only performed and shared their school life at Hoi Ping but also presented handmade gifts and refreshments that they had specially prepared for their parents. It was truly heartwarming to witness the genuine efforts our S1 students put in to show appreciation for their parents’ love and care.
