Life Buddies Mentorship Programme – Visit to Fire Services Department and Central Mail Centre

Our school partners with the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD), the staff members of which took our students through the Life Buddies Mentorship Programme this year. On 18th January 2020, our students had the privilege of visiting the Kowloon Bay Workshop of the Fire Services Department as well as the Central Mail Centre. Representatives of the EMSD demonstrated to our students how fire trucks and other firefighting equipment are maintained, and how aerial ladder platforms work. At the Central Mail Centre, students had the opportunity of learning how mail is handled all the way from post offices to the hands of recipients. Enthusiasm was evident among students who were in awe of the rare opportunity to visit these spots and the professional services delivered to the public.
