Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths Programme

Chosen as one of the 63 students representing Hong Kong in the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths Programme, 5A Ng Chak Fung participated in an exchange tour to Japan from 10th to 18th December 2017.

During the tour, Tomi got the chance to attend lessons and interact with students at local high schools, where he experienced cultural differences and the atmosphere of being in a foreign classroom. In addition to paying visits to historical and commercial attractions, staying with a host family deepened his knowledge of Japanese traditions and heritage. Tomi described the trip as a memorable one which drove him to pursue higher education in Japanese Studies and Translation in the future.
