Hoi Ping 45th Anniversary Debating Cup

To celebrate the 45th anniversary of Hoi Ping, the English Speech and Debating Club organised the Hoi Ping 45th Anniversary Debating Cup. Participating schools include Queen Elizabeth School, Australian International School Hong Kong, Maryknoll Convent School, TWGHs Wong Fut Nam College, Bishop Hall Jubilee School, YWCA Hioe Tjo Yoeng College, and Pooi To Middle School.

 

The preliminary round of the debating cup was held successfully on 10th November 2017. The motion was “Hong Kong should implement Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme”. Despite fierce competition, Queen Elizabeth School, Maryknoll Convent School, Bishop Hall Jubilee School and Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School outperformed the other teams and entered the semi-finals. Congratulations to all the winning schools!
