Harmony in the Heart of Europe: Our Austria Music Study Tour

Our recent music study tour (2nd – 10th April 2026) to Vienna and Salzburg was a transformative experience for our 26 young musicians. Students had multiple unforgettable experiences: they explored the prestigious Universitat Mozarteum with a professor there as their tour guide; witnessed the meticulous craftsmanship of a Bösendorfer piano at its factory; attended a breathtaking performance in the Vienna Golden Hall, which served as a pinnacle of inspiration, showcasing to students the heights of musical excellence.
The heart of the journey was a rigorous masterclass at the JS Bach Music School. Under the guidance of expert professors, our students honed their skills in vocal techniques, woodwinds, and piano, gaining professional insights that will last a lifetime.
Beyond the notes, nightly debriefings revealed profound growth. Students reflected on the cultural nuances between Austria and Hong Kong, noting the deep-seated respect for tradition and the arts. Students returned to Hong Kong with sharpened skills and hearts full of gratitude for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live and breathe music in its historic home.
