Christmas Party
Date: 20/12/2024
On 20th December 2024, our school hosted a touching Christmas celebration, where warmth and unity were at the heart of the festivities. Teachers, students, and parents from our school communities came together to orchestrate a memorable event that embodied the spirit of the season.
The event commenced in the hall with a harmonious blend of voices as teachers joined the school choir in a heartfelt rendition of Christmas carols, setting a joyous tone for the day. Following this melodic start, Mr So, a priest from Chinese Christian Church, shared an inspirational message that resonated deeply with all in attendance. The atmosphere was further lifted by engaging games that elicited laughter and joy among the audience, fostering a sense of togetherness. Adding to the emotional tapestry of the day, the choir and orchestra members delivered enchanting performances that touched the hearts of everyone present.
Parents from the Parent Teacher Association also played a significant role in the celebration by preparing gifts for the students, spreading joy and warmth.
The Inter-class Dance Competition provided a platform for each class to showcase their unique choreographies, infusing the event with creativity and friendly competition.
A highlight of the celebration was the ‘Dance Together’ session, a beloved tradition at Hoi Ping. Students, teachers, and alumni came together in the playground to perform traditional Hoi Ping dances, symbolising unity and shared heritage. This poignant display of togetherness left a lasting impression, evoking deep emotions and creating cherished memories for all participants. The students’ hearts were filled with warmth and gratitude as they embraced the magic of the festive season.
