Beijing Sports Tour for the Badminton and Table Tennis Team

Nine members of our School Badminton Team and Table Tennis Team had the honour to be chosen to join the Beijing Sports Tour. They had a great experience with different students from Hong Kong, Macau and Beijing during the five-day trip.
 

On the first day of the tour they participated in a Chinese calligraphy experience. They all successfully finished the practice by following the professional tutor from Beijing, which definitely widened their views on Chinese writing. Besides, the members demonstrated Hoi Ping’s great talent in the competition between students of different schools. Wong Kwun Yu and Lo Wai Ying won the 2nd runner up in both men singles and women singles at the badminton competition. How delightful!
 

Other than the above activities and achievements, the students also visited Tsinghua University, the Great Wall in Mutianyu, the Monument to the People’s Heroes in the Tiananmen Square, the Water Cube and Beijing National Stadium. These experiences surely enhanced the students interest in Chinese culture.

 

Students have learnt many things and broaden their views on the five-day tour, and we hope they can get great results in the coming days.
