1st Human-AI Writing Contest

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been incorporated into teaching and learning. 25 Hoi Ping students took part in the 1st Human-AI Creative Writing Contest, which was organised by Precious Blood Secondary School. Participants learnt how to code and create a writing programme. Next, they used the programme to help them form ideas for their stories.

Among the short stories of all participants, three stood out after being scored by adjudicators. These entries were written by: Tang Wai (3A), Hung Man Ting (4E), and Law Hiu Yee (4E).

Winners or not, many participants wrote in their post-workshop reflection that they learnt a lot about the use of AI and how it could facilitate human creativity. This is a valuable lesson in itself!
