齊心對抗疫情 Concerted Effort in Fight Against Epidemic

在新型冠狀病毒擴散及持續停課帶來的陰霾下，開平有幸獲家長和老師的關顧，慷慨捐贈了口罩和消毒搓手液予學校，助學校共同抗疫。學校衷心感謝他們無私的捐贈！有賴老師及教職員協助包裝及派發工作，學校在2020年2月6日順利將外科口罩派發給有需要的家長。
為對抗疫情，每個人進入學校時必須戴上外科口罩，並在學校正門量度體溫及使用消毒搓手液潔淨雙手。學校將依照衛生防護中心提供的指引，保持室內空氣流通及每天進行徹底的清潔和消毒，確保學校的衛生水平良好。學校會使用稀釋漂白水清潔校舍，並會每天消毒飲水機4次。此外，學校將在小花園附近的有蓋操場上安裝更多水龍頭，並在食物部的桌椅旁安裝四個水龍頭，以便讓每個人都能經常洗手，減低受感染的風險。
願疫情可以盡快受控，讓學生能重返校園！
Amid the uncertainty and fear brought about by the spread of novel coronavirus and the subsequent school suspension, Hoi Ping has been blessed by the care from parents and teachers who saw the needs of others. Generous parents and teachers donated surgical masks and hand sanitizer to the school to help fight the epidemic. The school would like to express our deepest gratitude for their selfless donations! On 6th February 2020, surgical masks were distributed to the parents in need. Thanks to the help of teachers and staff, the packing and distribution work was completed smoothly.
To fight against the virus, everyone is required to put on a mask when entering the school. Besides, they should rub their hands with sanitizer and have their body temperature taken. The school will maintain good indoor ventilation and hygienic standard of the school premises through thorough cleaning and disinfection daily by following all the guidelines from the Centre for Health Protection. Diluted bleach will be used for cleaning and drinking fountains will be disinfected 4 times a day. In addition, more water taps will be installed at the small covered playground near the little garden and four water taps will be installed near the tuck shop tables. This is to facilitate frequent hand-washing to reduce the risk of infection.
We hope the virus can be contained as soon as possible and look forward to school resumption!
