Rising to the Top: S6 English Scholars Excel at the Hong Kong School Elite Competition 2026

On 13th September 2026, three S6 students were celebrated for their scholarly achievements at the prestigious award ceremony for the Hong Kong School Elite Competition 2026. This challenging academic journey commenced on 2nd August 2026, when our representatives participated in a rigorous English reading and usage session designed to test their linguistic agility and comprehension. Competing against the city’s brightest minds, 6E Cheng Tak Lam, Yep Emily Moon Yin, and Ho Tze Ki Denz demonstrated exceptional focus and skill, culminating in a series of top-tier accolades that highlight the strength of our senior secondary cohort.

These results are a testament to the students’ unwavering commitment to academic excellence: Cheng Tak Lam secured a Gold Award and placed 2nd overall, while Yep Emily Moon Yin and Ho Tze Ki Denz earned a Gold Award and a Silver Award, respectively. Beyond the thrill of competition, the experience allowed the participants to significantly sharpen their language proficiency as they navigated complex textual structures and nuanced vocabulary.
