From Player to Page English Video Game Writing Competition 2022

Date: 28/10/2022

From Player to Page is a writing competition that aims at inspiring students to write for video games. A highly recognised competition, it is supported by University of Lancaster, The Standard, and Hong Kong International Literary Festival. Seven Hoi Ping students took part in the competition in the 2021-2022 school year and submitted quality video game reviews. Among all Hong Kong competitors, two Hoi Ping students made it to the final round and were given the Platinum Award. They are 1D Arthur Chan and 3A Owen Lo.

The enjoyment of gaming needs not be separated from schooling! As proven by Arthur’s and Owen’s examples, you can demonstrate your flair for both — at the same time! Join the competition and maybe you will win too.
