Tai Koo Historical Tour

The Chinese History Club and the Humanity Club recently hosted a successful walking tour to Tai Koo to bring Hong Kong’s history to life. On January 24, students gathered at Tai Koo Station before heading out to explore significant historical landmarks. The group traced the remnants of the historic Mount Parker Cable Car while enjoying the scenic Green Trail. This hands-on experience allowed participants to see how a dockyard transformed into a modern residential district. It was an inspiring morning that successfully sparked a deeper interest in our local humanities and heritage.
