On 30th April 2026, the Home Economics Club hosted the highly anticipated Teacher-Student Cooking Competition. With the goal of strengthening the bond between staff and students, the event challenged dynamic teams to collaborate on creative dishes inspired by this year’s vibrant theme, “Colour”.
Taking home the top spot was an incredible team that beautifully blended creativity, teamwork, and culinary skill. Joined by their teacher, Ms. Qian Wan Jun, talented senior students Cheung Kwan Tung (5B), Qiu Hui Qi (5B), Cheung Hoi Kiu (5C), and Cheng Tse Lam (5D) wowed the judges with their delicious, culturally inspired masterpiece, Stewed Creamy Tomato Chicken. Their outstanding collaboration and culinary flair rightfully earned them the championship title.
The entire afternoon was filled with laughter, innovation, and wonderful aromas as participants explored diverse culinary traditions while enjoying quality time together. The event was a resounding success, proving once again that the universal language of good food is one of the best ways to bring our school community closer together. A special thank you goes out to the Home Economics Club, our panel of judges, and everyone who participated to make this event so memorable!
