Personal Information Collection Statement

Purpose of Personal Information Collection

All personal information collected by Hoi Ping Chamber Of Commerce Secondary School (“the School”) in the application forms will only be used for processing the related applications.

Provision of Personal Information

It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure all information provided to the School is correct and up-to-date. In case of any changes to the information in the application forms, the applicant must notify the School as soon as possible. If the information provided are inaccurate or incomplete, the application may not be processed or the outcome of the application may be affected.

Disclosure and Transfer of Personal Information

The School will keep all personal data confidential and only authorized persons will have access to and handle the personal data. The School will not disclose any personal data to any external bodies or organisations unless such disclosure is permitted to do so by the applicant or his/her parent/guardian or permitted or required by law.

Access to Personal Information

Under the provision of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, the applicant has the right to request for access and correction of the personal data held by the School. Any data access and correction request according to the Ordinance should be made in writing to the school office at 22 Shek Ku Street, Homantin, Kowloon or [email protected].

5.

Retention of Personal Information

All admission application forms of the unsuccessful applicants will be discarded by the School one year after completion of the admission process.
