日期: 26/10/2014
In October 2014, Mavis Yau Tsz Yung (1B), together with a student from another school, took part in “the 10th World Creativity Festival: Mind Frontier 2014” in Daejeon, Korea.
Mind Frontier is an event that welcomes students from all around the world to join. It first started as a national event in Korea in 1997, and later has become an international one since 2005. The festival aims at cultivating students’ interest and creativity in science and technology. Participating students have to demonstrate their creativity and their work would then be evaluated by international judges.
After working hard for months, Mavis Yau Tsz Yung (1B) and her partner presented their long-term thesis in Daejeon, Korea in October 2014. Despite fierce competition with students from many different countries, Mavis and her partner impressed the judges with their outstanding problem-solving skills and creativity while presenting their thesis on “Bun Scrambling in Cheung Chau” and finally won the Grand Prize. Mavis and her partner had definitely done a marvelous job! Congratulations to the team!
