Hoi Ping Christmas Dreamathon 2024

Once again, the UNICEF Club at our school mobilised everyone in the school to donate gifts for children and families for Christmas. The event this year is named Dreamathon, aiming to make others’ dreams a reality by doing what we can. 

  

Staff members, parents and students all contributed to this event. With the help of over 80 members, the UNICEF Club made this event possible under the leadership of the Chairperson, 5E Lee Hoi Yi, by collaborating with H.K.S.K.H. Kowloon City Children and Youth Integrated Service Centre. 

  

Our members first met the families and children served by the centre. They then shared the wishes of these children and the needs of the families in a morning assembly, inviting everyone in the school to donate either individually or as a class.

  

After a week of collection, club members delivered all the donated gifts to the families and children. The smiles on their faces confirmed the value of the endeavours of these special learning communities in serving others.
