The school’s Dance Team is formed from students who are elite dancers. Their performance of western folk dances on Speech Day always receives a big round of applause. Over the past ten years, the team has participated in many dance competitions and achieved excellent results. Last year, the dance team performed two dances (Romanian and Slovak Dances) in the 53rd Schools Dance Festival and both dances were awarded the Honours Award and the Choreography Award. They also received Gold awards in the Open Dance Contest and the Yuen Long Dance Competition.
Aiming at enhancing students’ knowledge of dancing and developing their confidence, our Dance Team hopes that students can learn how to manage their time, develop self-control and foster problem-solving skills through dance practices.
