Astronomical Training Programme for Secondary School Students 2024-2025

We are thrilled to announce that our student, Cheung Chi Ching Stefani (4D), has mastered the prestigious Astronomical Training Programme for Secondary School Students! This elite program, jointly organized by the Hong Kong Space Museum, the Chinese University of Hong Kong's Physics Department, and the Hong Kong Astronomical Society, selects promising young minds to dive deep into the wonders of astrophysics.

  

Throughout this intensive journey, Stefani demonstrated exceptional dedication, attending weekly classes at CUHK, where she absorbed complex astronomical concepts. Her stellar performance in the rigorous first assessment earned her a coveted spot at the Sai Kung Astronomical Park camp, where she gained hands-on experience with professional-grade astronomical equipment under the guidance of leading experts in the field.

  

In a remarkable achievement, Stefani excelled in both semester examinations, showcasing her mastery in written astronomical knowledge and practical telescope operations. Her outstanding performance placed her among just 61 distinguished graduates of this challenging program. Stefani's accomplishment not only brings honour to our school, but also inspires her fellow schoolmates to reach for the stars. Her journey exemplifies how passion, dedication, and hard work can unlock the mysteries of the universe!
